Arsenal are reportedly close to announcing the signing of PSG defender Layvin Kurzawa on a free transfer.
The Gunners were heavily linked with the full-back, who is out of contract this summer, in January before a transfer failed to materialise.
Spanish outlet TodoFichajes now report Arsenal have already agreed a five-year deal with the 27-year-old, making him their first arrival of the 2020/21 season.
The north London outfit are said to be ‘very close’ to announcing the completion of the deal, despite football across the world currently being halted due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Kurzawa will join on a free transfer after failing to secure a new deal with PSG.
Last month it was reported the Frenchman’s agent Kia Joorabchian is “handling interesting offers” from the club.
With 23 appearances for PSG this season, Kurzawa has been seen as a second option to Spanish defender Juan Bernat.
A move away from the Parc des Princes would bring an end to the defender’s five-year stay, winning three Ligue 1 titles with the club.
According to Spanish outlet Sport, Kurzawa has also been chased by Barcelona.
The Catalans are said to be on the hunt for a new left-back to provide competition for Jordi Alba at the Nou Camp.
