Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike has done the unexpected.

Governor Wike demolished 2 Hotels in the state because they failed to shut down during the Covid-19 lockdown 😲😲

Nyesom Ezenwo Wike on Sunday monitored the demolition of Prodest Hotel, Alode, Eleme, and Etemeteh Hotel in Onne both in Eleme Government local area in line with the State Government Executive Order 6, which banned the operation of hotels across the 23 Local Government Areas of the State.

One of the Hotel was rumoured to be owned by Mr Princewill Osaroejiji, PDP Eleme LGA youth leader.

WHY WIKE DEMOLISHED THE 2 HOTELS

Governor Wike had to shut down all hotels in the state after the owner of Mingei Hotels in Port Harcourt died of Covid-19 and also infected 7 other persons.
