Nigeria’s Mr. Eazi, a Ghanaian-based music R&B-influenced Afro-beat artist has stated reasons for the high rate of poverty in Africa.
The Afrobeat music artist named Ajibade Oluwatosin but fondly called Mr. Eazi took to his Instagram official page to highlight his thought on the Africa ecosystem. He opined that Africa has been an exploitation ground for mineral resources for a very long time. It should also be noted that Mr. Eazi is also the CEO of EMPAWA.
The CEO, Mr. Eazi further stated that 95% of the mineral resources that were discovered in the continent were shipped out of the continent, while the remaining 5% gets mismanaged.
Mr. Eazi also added that corruption is in all parts of the world, unfortunately, the high level of exploitation leaves Africa riddled with poverty, zero equity and little or no infrastructures.

Mr. Eazi however suggested the need to put an end to what he described as a form of slavery for the sake of the African people given the global climate change.
Mr. Eazi pointed out that some of the biggest players in the African Music ecosystem are not owned by Africans.
