Barcelona captain, Lionel Messi, has admitted he would love the club to sign Lautaro Martinez from Inter Milan.
The pair are team-mates in the Argentina national team.
Martinez, who is enjoying a fine season with the Serie A side, has a €111m buyout clause in his current deal.
Although Barca have signed Martin Braithwaite in an emergency deal on Thursday, Messi feels the Catalans should have Martinez in their sights this summer.
“He’s good in one-one-one situations, fights it out with anyone, wins back the ball, can turn in the box. He’s a complete forward.
“I think all great players will in the end adapt. Luis Suarez has a lot of experience and could help Lautaro settle into the club and the Liga. Of course, this is all hypothetically speaking,” Messi told Mundo Deportivo.
