Former Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, has sent a message to state governors undergoing COVID-19 treatments.

Atiku wished Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State, Governor Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State and Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State quick recovery.

In a tweet, Atiku urged families of the governors to be strong.

“My thoughts and prayers and those of my family are with Gov. @IAOkowa, Gov Okezie Ikpeazu and Gov @RotimiAkeredolu and their families and all those currently undergoing treatment for COVID-19. Be strong and get well soon. -AA,” he tweeted.

Recall that Okowa had on Wednesday announced that he and his wife tested positive for coronavirus.

The governor had disclosed this via his Twitter handle.

Also, Akeredolu had on Tuesday said he tested positive for the virus.

Akeredolu had made his health status public during a press conference in Akure.

Similarly, Ikpeazu had in June tested positive for the virus.
