Banditry is still on the rise as we have sighted a report on NAIJALOADED which revealed that a fresh bandit attack in Zamfara State has left seven people dead.

Additionally, 13 people were reported injured with 20 women kidnapped. The incident reportedly occurred in the Danfasa community, Dansadau Emirate of Maru Local Government Area of the state.

Eyewitnesses revealed that many houses were burnt while animals were stolen by these notorious bandits.

An eyewitness who narrowly escaped the attack in his submission stated that these bandits entered the village on motorcycles, shooting continuously.

According to him, the villagers tried all they can to defend themselves, however, they were overpowered by the bandits because they were in possession of sophisticated weapons.

In his remarks, he said;

“We were in the village yesterday when we heard gunshots and there was no pressure from the security agents due to the bad nature of the road.”
